NEW YORKERS GET FESTIVE AND GO BACK IN TIME AT THE 90'S FESTIVAL 2016 ON GOVERNORS ISLAND!

This past Saturday, 90s Fest 2016 hit Governors Island, NYC!  Nostalgic festival-goers were transported back in time to the 1990s era with music, games and Nickelodeon-themed spectacles.  Guests posed for selfies with the Rugrats as they got slimed and played Nickelodeon classic games including:  Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare.  Several famous artists from the 90's rocked out live centerstage including:  Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Sugar Ray, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Pauly Shore and Sister Hazel! 

The festival was a totally awesome destination for 90's junkies to dress the part!  From retro band tee's, choker necklaces to babies decked out in 90's garb, the fans really kept the 90's spirit alive in 2016!

C. Wonder Creative Director, Brad Goreski @ NY Spring Collection Preview Event 2/4/16

Of course you know Reality TV stylist to the stars, Mr. Brad Goreski! 

Ever since Goreski's own Bravo TV series, "It's a Brad, Brad World" ended in April, 2013, Brad has been busy expanding his fashion empire both on and off camera!  Goreski continues to style several Hollywood starlets including, Rashida Jones.  Brad also has a gig co-hosting the E! Network TV series, "Fashion Police" alongside Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Margaret Cho.

Now, Goreski's latest project is Creative Director for the C. Wonder brand.  Last summer, C. Wonder was saved by Xcel Brands Inc. (the parent company of Judith Ripka, Isaac Mizrahi and more) who acquired C. Wonder for $12.5 Million.  Soon after, Goreski was appointed creative director and on-air host of C. Wonder for QVC. 

 "THE WANNA" host, Gina Giordan and team, un-officially kicked off NYFW in midtown with Goreski, who revealed his very first C. Wonder Spring Collection,  exclusively created for QVC.  

A select few industry insiders and VIP guests were greeted with jalapeno cucumber margaritas as they entered the candy apple green and white covered fashion event.  The latest collection was on full display as Brad greeted guests and talked fashion.  Goreski told THE WANNA host, Gina Giordan, "I'm so excited about this collection because it's everything I love!  Color, prints gorgeous fabrics and luxurious details and I think our QVC woman is going to love it!"

THE WANNA team and a few good friends, Warren Tricomi hair-stylist, Jasmine Anna Galazka and event planner extraordinaire Renee Lyn both agreed, our fav accessory from the Spring 2016 collection was the C. Wonder tote bags and make-up cases!  The colorful bags reminded us of a super fun and way more affordable version of the lux GOYARD tote!  Go Goreski!
