The Cast of "The Bling Ring" - A24 Films - 2013
In the past few months, several celebrities’ estates have been robbed including: Kevin Hart, Blac Chyna and Scott Disick. The officials have revealed the robberies may be related and possibly part of a new ‘Bling Ring’. In 2008, Hollywood has a similar issue of celebrity robberies, in which, a group of teenagers became the “Bling Ring.” The young group broke into houses belonging to Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson and more. By the end totalling about $3 Million in stolen goods. Authorities are stating that we could have a similar situation starting up again, but they have no suspects as of yet.
In May, the potential bling ring reportedly gained access into Blac Chyna’s mansion and home safe. The break in showed no signs of forced entry into the house or the safe leaving officials to believe it may have been an inside job. The incident occurred while Chyna was out of town. Her fiancé Rob Kardashian, discovered the break in and immediately reported the incident. Chyna lost over $200K in personal property and cash.
Also, in May, Chyna’s pseudo brother-in-law Scott Disick’s estate was broken into as well. Disick lost several Rolex time pieces totaling more than 80k and thousands more in jewelry. Authorities have said the crime was most likely committed by someone that had access to Disick’s house.
Kevin Hart is the latest victim in these celebrity estate robberies. Last week, Hart’s LA estate was robbed, while Hart was in Florida. Hart lives in a gated community and has a large Doberman pincher as a pet. Reportedly the robber(s) made it through these gates and past Hart’s dog before breaking through the back door and gaining access to the estate. Authorities said that The ’Central Intelligence’ star had security cameras on both the inside and outside of the house, however, they have come up with no leads. Hart lost around $500K in personal belongings.
