The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back in 2022 after two years of postponements and cancellations due to the pandemic. And the lineup is worth all the wait. Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Swedish House Mafia are the headliners. The Festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents.

This year, Weekend One: April 15 – 17, 2022 and Weekend Two: April 22 – 24, 2022. Headliners: Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye (Kanye West).

Eilish took to Instagram to share the 2022 lineup. Styles will headline the festival for the first time on April 15 and 22. But before he takes the stage, people can expect performances by Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Carly Rae Jepsen, slowt

Last year’s interaction — with headliners Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean — was postponed several times. Billboard confirmed that Scott and Rage Against the Machine will not be a part of the festival this year while Ocean is expected to perform in 2023.

The festival will span across two weekends: April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24. Eilish took to Instagram to share the 2022 lineup.

Friday, April 15 and 22

Styles will headline the festival for the first time on April 15 and 22. But before he takes the stage, people can expect performances by Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Carly Rae Jepsen, slowthai, MIKA, Princess Nokia, Purple Disco Machine and Logic100.

Saturday, April 16 and 23

Eilish also makes history as Coachella’s youngest headliner at 20 years old. She will perform on April 16 and 23. Flume, Disclosure, Megan Thee Stallion, Brockhampton, girl in red, Koffee, Hot Chip, Steve Lacy, Arlo Parks, Floating Points and Holly Humberstone will take the stage before Eilish.

Sunday, April 17 and 24

Ye headlined Coachella back in 2011 as Kanye West, according to Newsweek, though he has made several appearances on stage alongside artists like The Weeknd and Kid Cudi. Other artists performing on Sunday are Doja Cat, Joji, Jamie XX, Maggie Rogers, Fatboy Slim, Dave, Honey Dijon, Orville Peck, Sampa the Great,\ and Duke Dumont.

Additionally, Swedish House Mafia is also expected to perform although it is unclear whether the group is headlining or not, per Variety. All we know is that it is “returning to the desert.”

Several famous faces can be spotted every year at the festival, including: Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Roberts, Taylor Swift, Alexander Skarsgard, Vanessa Hudgens, Kate Bosworth, Jared Leto, Orlando Bloom, and more.

After a long night of waiting for all the Election results to roll in on November 8th, Donald Trump was named President-elect of the United States with a win over Hillary Clinton.  Throughout Hillary Clinton’s campaign, a long list of Hollywood heavies supported her and dissuaded people from voting for Trump.  These celebrities included Beyonce, Jay-Z, Scarlett Johansson, Madonna, Adele, Robert Downey Jr., Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, and so many more.  The WANNA kept up with the celebrities who said “I’m with her,” and the many celeb-driven PSAs dedicated to voting against Trump.

Yet even with all this backing from Hollywood A-listers, it was just not enough to win Hillary the Presidency.

On Election Night, November 8th, left-leaning celebrities took to Twitter to express their shock, fear and sadness over Hillary’s loss and Trump’s Presidential victory.  The WANNA has gathered the most emotional celebrity tweets below.
